Well, before I start off today, I wanted to thank everyone for such kind and thoughtful comments to yesterday’s post. There are times when one wonders if the effort to write a blog is really worth it, and I now have no doubt it is! So, thank you for all of your encouragement and support. It really means a lot.
Day 2 of the A-to-Z Blogger’s Challenge and it was easy to find my “B” topic for today—my brother arrived to town for a week-long visit from Colorado. Of course, Millie was eager to come along for the ride to the airport to see “Uncle” Randy!
We, luckily, timed our arrival to Midway just right and did not have to circle around. After throwing his bags in the back, and posing for a quick “Welcome” photo, we were on our way!
Well, not without first getting a few big licks from his favorite furry blonde niece!
Can you believe that my baby brother turns 50 this year?!! Must be all that fresh mountain air he breathes!
Not a whole lot planned for the week—we’ll mostly focus on spending time with my mom, have some nice meals out, and perhaps do a day trip or two. But, Millie is excitedly looking forward to her daily playtimes…no one can throw a Frisbee as good as Uncle Randy!
